Pays-Bas – Samedi prochain à Gouda, le traditionnel défilé de Saint-Nicolas sera accompagné par des agents des unités spéciales de police déguisés en Père Fouettard. Ces policiers infiltrés seront armés, mais discrets, écrit le journal néerlandais Algemeen Dagblad.
C’est qu’ici, aux Pays-Bas, la polémique lancée par des obsédés pathologiques de l’antiracisme est prise très au sérieux. Selon cette minorité activiste au service d’un politiquement correct poussé au stade le plus absurde, le Père Fouettard qu’on appelle ici Zwarte Piet ne doit plus apparaître grimé en noir car ce serait une caricature raciste. Quelques associations « antiracistes » qui s’érigent en police de la pensée font tout pour gâcher ce qui devrait simplement être une belle fête destinée à faire la joie des enfants.
Les autorités politiques locales et le commandement de la police ont donc fortement pris en compte un risque d’affrontement entre les opposants et les partisans du Père Fouettard.
