Quatorze hommes accusés de pratiques homosexuelles réprimées par la loi égyptienne ont été arrêtés lors d’une opération de police au Caire. La justice a ouvert une enquête concernant des soupçons d’activités homosexuelles dans un centre de fitness de la capitale.
Un groupe d’hommes âgés de 18 à 57 a été arrêté par la police égyptienne, samedi au Caire.
Le procureur a ordonné que les 14 suspects soient maintenus en détention provisoire. Ils seront par ailleurs examinés par un spécialiste des « rapports médico-légaux ».
Le centre de fitness en cause a été fermé. Les enquêteurs ont découvert des « stimulants sexuels » dans les locaux de ce centre sportif soupçonné d’être en réalité un lieu de prostitution homosexuelle.
Etrangement, cela n’entraîne pas le même raffut de protestation que l’on constate par ailleurs à l’encontre des mesures prises par la Russie pour se préserver de la propagande homosexuelle. Serait-ce parce que l’actuel pouvoir égyptien est très proche des Etats-Unis ? Poser la question, c’est y répondre…
