Jejoen Bontinck, jeune Belge, a passé huit mois en Syrie. Revenu dans son pays, il a été interpellé vendredi soir au domicile de sa mère. Après avoir été interrogé toute la nuit, il a été placé sous mandat d’arrêt. Il est soupçonné de faits de terrorisme. Il a déclaré à plusieurs médias n’être parti en Syrie que pour des raisons humanitaires. Il affirme avoir été pendant plusieurs mois chauffeur pour «une sorte d’hôpital, où les médecins étaient moins compétents qu’un étudiant débutant chez nous» ainsi que n’avoir participé à aucun combat. Il nie tout endoctrinement de la part de Sharia4Belgium. Ce jeune est issu d’un milieu catholique et s’est converti à l’islam radical.
