Des militants chrétiens orthodoxes ont aspergé d’eau bénite le chanteur Marilyn Manson et son groupe juste avant le concert prévu vendredi dernier à Moscou. Le leader du mouvement religieux Volonté de Dieu, Dimitri Enteo, a rapporté l’attaque sur son compte Twitter. Ses membres ont lancé de «l’eau bénite et des œufs » sur le musicien en raison de ses tendances sataniques.
Marilyn Manson n’a pu, par ailleurs, donner son concert dans la capitale russe à cause d’une alerte à la bombe.
Une semaine plus tôt, plus de 400 résidents de Novossibirsk (Sibérie), où Manson devait tenir un concert dans le cadre de sa tournée russe, ont exigé et obtenu l’annulation de l’événement en raison des paroles de l’artiste « représentant un mélange d’obscénité, de propagande en faveur de la drogue, la perversion sexuelle et le blasphème contre la foi chrétienne « .
« Les autorités à tous les niveaux nous ont refusé l’autorisation d’organiser le concert », ont expliqué avec dépit les organisateurs de la tournée.
