Le conseil diocésain de Moscou a annoncé la prochaine publication d’une Bible en langue ouzbèke à destination des immigrés afin de les aider à s’intégrer en Russie. Précédemment, l’Eglise orthodoxe a mis en place des sessions de cours de langue, de culture et de législation russes dans le même but. Un représentant du conseil diocésain de Moscou, le hiéromoine Dmitri Pershin a expliqué à la Douma qu’il s’agit de « la réponse [de l’Eglise] aux demandes de la société au sujet de l’adaptation culturelle et l’intégration des travailleurs migrants. »
