Lors d’un débat télévisé consacré aux propos de Marcel Campion (« Paris est gouverné par des homos »), Maurice Szafran en arrive, comme à son habitude, à parler d’antisémitisme, puis à se lancer dans une diatribe contre le site Egalité & Réconciliation qui serait focalisé sur le lobby juif.
La chroniqueuse Elisabeth Levy l’interrompt net : « Mais il y a un lobby juif ! ». Et d’ajouter que le CRIF est un lobby qui « cherche à influencer les pouvoirs publics », « à influencer la société ».
Rappelons que Maurice Szafran, ancien PDG du magazine Marianne dont il fut le co-fondateur avec Jean-François Kahn, et laudateur invétéré de Bernard-Henri Lévy, est l’auteur d’un livre intitulé Les Juifs dans la politique française (paru en 1992 chez Flammarion).
