Chaque été, pendant deux jours, la Tour vit à l’heure médiévale. Animations, joutes équestres, musique… ne manquez pas ce moment exceptionnel.
Nous sommes en 1340, au milieu du XIVème siècle, début de la guerre de cent ans. L’armée du roi de France, menée par Eude IV de Bourgogne et soutenue par les forces de Jean 1er d’Armagnac, remporte la bataille de Saint Omer contre la coalition anglo-flamande d’Edouart III. Cette bataille n’aura pas déstabilisé le plus gros des forces anglaises mais aura nettement ralenti la chevauchée d’Edouart III d’Angleterre mené par Robert d’Artois.
Afin de célébrer cette franche victoire et pour honorer le courage des chevaliers français, Arnaud Guilhem d’Armagnac et Jean de Termes, vassaux de Jean 1er comte d’Armagnac organisent deux jours de tournois et de fête dans leur château de Termes d’Armagnac.
Venez soutenir et acclamer les fiers chevaliers qui s’affronteront en tournoi dans la lice.
