La campagne pour les élections présidentielles américaines mobilise beaucoup les vedettes du showbiz. Beaucoup ont pris fait et cause pour Hillary Clinton. Mais certains sont plus engagés que d’autres.
Ainsi, George et Amal Clooney organisent deux dîners dans leurs demeures réservés aux fortunés prêts à débourser 350.000 dollars pour s’installer à table et contribuer de la sorte au financement de la campagne d’Hillary Clinton.
Le premier de ces deux dîners se déroulera le 15 avril à San Francisco. Le second est prévu à Los Angeles.
Un montant jugé « obscène » par Bernie Sanders, le rival démocrate d’Hillary Clinton.
Et dire que ces gens-là prétendent défendre les intérêts de leurs concitoyens et donner des leçons de démocratie !
