« Les Blancs en Charolais-Brionnais»

Juriste de formation, Paul Rignac, installé depuis longtemps en Charolais, s’intéresse à l’histoire locale et publie en 2013 un ouvrage sur les « Blancs ». L’étude du mouvement anti-concordataire, appelé « les Blancs » dans notre région est riche d’enseignements sur les conséquences de la révolution française.
Il s’investit aussi dans l’action humanitaire en Asie du Sud-Est, notamment dans les pays de l’ancienne Indochine française. Au fil des années, il y recueille témoignages et archives personnelles offrant un éclairage de la colonisation très différent de la doxa anticolonialiste dominante
